（１）最初の１分：１分間普通の読み方で何文字読めるか計る。

（２）次の１分：通常読みで読めた倍の分量を１分間で読む。
　　　文章の理解度は大きく下がってしまうがかまわない。

（３）その次の１分：通常読みで読めた３倍の分量を１分間で読む。
　　　文章の理解度は大きく下がってしまうが同じくかまわない。

（４）最後の１分：最後は内容が理解できる速度で何文字読めるか計る。
　　　すると最初よりも読書速度にかなりの改善が見られる。
